Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar as comunicações processuais no âmbito do Tribunal de Justiça do Estado do Ceará, com ênfase nas citações em ações de alimentos. O objetivo é buscar entender se as comunicações, no formato dos expedientes atuais, atendem aos direitos de acesso à justiça e informação dos cidadãos. Para isso, foram realizadas pesquisas em literatura para estruturação de conceitos e, em seguida, aplicado o Legal Design, com a metodologia de design thinking. Durante o processo de pesquisa, merecem especial atenção as entrevistas de empatia, realizadas no Núcleo de Contestação da Defensoria Pública do Estado do Ceará, com os usuários entendidos como extremos. Sugeriram-se as fases de ideação e prototipação. A proposta de intervenção materializou-se em vídeo explicativo, anexo ao expediente escrito, visando ao incremento do entendimento do usuário jurisdicionado, bem como apoio na tomada livre de suas decisões processuais estratégicas.

This work aims to analyze procedural communications within the scope of the Court of Justice of the State of Ceará, with emphasis on citations in food actions. The objective is to seek to understand whether communications, in the format of current files, meet citizens' rights of access to justice and information. To achieve this, literature research was carried out to structure concepts and then Legal Design was applied, with the design thinking methodology. During the research process, special attention deserves the empathy interviews, carried out at the Contestation Center of the Public Defender's Office of the State of Cerá, with users understood as extreme. The ideation and prototyping phases were suggested. The intervention proposal materialized in an explanatory video, attached to the written file, aiming to increase the understanding of the jurisdictional user, as well as support in freely making strategic procedural decisions.
