Esse estudo teve como objetivo compreender a vivência do lazer a partir da perspectiva do
núcleo familiar, verificando as possíveis influências da experiência do lazer no bem-estar e na
dinâmica da família. Participaram três famílias do município de Russas ? CE, somando um
total de 13 pessoas, com idades que variaram de 04 a 76 anos de idade. Foram utilizados os
seguintes instrumentos de coleta de dados: estrevista estruturada e fotografias, além do diário
de campo para o registro do conteúdo das observações participantes junto às famílias. A
análise de conteúdo das entrevistas e das fotografias evidenciou que todos os membros das
famílias entrevistadas percebem a família como um microssistema muito importante para suas
vidas e para a sociedade. Apontam como principais atividades de lazer: viajar, ir à praia,
brincar, jogar (futebol e videogame), pescar/caçar e relaxar/descansar. Consideram os
momentos de lazer em família importantes e potencializadores dos processos proximais,
favorecendo o bem-estar de todo microssistema familiar. As limitações de tempo, decorrente
da demanda de trabalho dos pais, somado às limitações financeiras e de disponibilidade de
estruturas de lazer na cidade foram mencionadas como fatores que dificultam a vivência do
lazer em família. Conclui-se ressaltando o lazer como uma dimensão potencialmente capaz de
contribuir para o bem-estar e desenvolvimento nas famílias estudadas. E sublinha-se a
adequação dos referenciais da Psicologia Positiva e da Abordagem Bioecológica do
Desenvolvimento Humana para uma visão da família e do lazer, ao mesmo tempo mais
positiva (salutogênica) e situada no contexto.

This study aimed to understand the experience of leisure from the family core?s perspective,
checking the possible influences of leisure experience in families? well-being and dynamics.
Three families from the municipality of Russas ? CE participated in the process, adding up to
a total of 13 people, with ages that ranged from 04 to 76 years of age. The following
instruments were used to collect data: structured interview and photographs, as well as the
field journal to record the content of participating observations with the families. Content
analysis of interviews and photographs showed that all members of the interviewed families
perceive family as a very important microsystem for their lives and for society. These families
pointed out the main leisure activities as: traveling, going to the beach, playing, playing
(soccer and videogame), fishing/hunting and relaxing. They consider the family leisure time
important and encouraging to proximate processes, promoting the well-being of all family
microsystem. The limitations of time, due to the demand of the parents' working hours, added
to financial limitations and availability of leisure structures in the city were mentioned as
factors that hinder family leisure experience. It is concluded that leisure is highlighted as a
potentially able dimension to contribute to the well-being and development of the subject
families. And it is noted the adequacy of positive psychology references and the
Bioecological Approach of Human Development for an overlook of the family and leisure at
the same time more positive (healthier) and situated in context.
